Evidence of Work
This project took a good amount of thought and work. Our first idea was to create a car that ran off of gears. The idea seemed good at first, but than we soon realized how complicated of a design it was. We had to ditch that idea and move on to the next. Than we decided to use a rat trap to move our car, but that did not work either. Our third idea was to tie a string around the back wheels and have a heavy metal thing attached to the back with the string tied to it. When the metal would fall backwards the string would pull the car foward. The car did not go because the metal was too heavy. Our final idea was a cereal box with cds as wheels that had rubber band tied together through the middle of the car attached to the wheel making the car move slowly but far. This worked perfectly and on the day of presentation it went exactly five meters.

Reflection
The project was very fun. Through many trials with errors we finally got our perfect car. Our car was not very fast, but if you wound it up a lot than it would go a good distance. On the day of the presentation it went exactly five meters. Our first couple of ideas went very poorly because they were either to complicated or didn't work. During this project I learned how to tie rubber bands together and make wheels out of cds. I learned that you can make a moving car out of the simplest things. I think I could have planned out old ideas better so that we could have had our project completed sooner. I also think I could have helped more with the graphs. I will try and help plan out our design better in the future and I will try and help make the graphs. The pit of our project was when we were days behind the other groups because our first design with screws was to complicated. Our peak of our project was during our presentation when our car did perfectly and we got a good grade. This project was quite fun and I will be willing to do it again in the future.
